There are over 600 muscles in the human body. There are a few different types of muscle bellies that all these muscles can be categorized under. For example, convergent e.g. latissimus dorsi, biceps e.g. biceps brachii, fusiform e.g. brachialis, unipennate e.g. extensor digitorum longus, bipennate e.g. rectus femoris, multi belly e.g. rectus abdominis. While the list below isn't comprehensive, it is a fairly extensive list of muslces in the body. For each muslce in the list you will find its origin and insertion along with its action.
