When starting any exercise a warm up is required to get the joints and muscles moving and warmed up, ready for activity. Pilates also requires a warm up. Below are some good exercises, and an order in which to do them, to warm up with.

  5. Cat Stretch
  6. Hip Rolls
  7. Scapular Isolation
  8. Arm Circles
  9. Head Nods
  10. Elevation and Depression
